Hey! Thanks for stopping by!
My name is Sage Petersen and I grew up in beautiful San Clemente, California: the southern most city in Orange County. My surroundings have made me ocean minded and allowed me spend my time with sand between my toes and salt in my hair. Ever since I was a kid, art played an important role in my life. I loved coloring books, paint by numbers, and anything that had to do with being creative. Throughout childhood, I spent my summers in art class, with my hands covered in paint thinner and brush strokes. I would spend hours sketching whatever caught my eye and giving my drawings as gifts to my family.
Throughout high school, it became more and more apparent that my future lied in the arts. Upon entering Point Loma Nazarene University, I chose to be a Fine Art major but quickly switched to Graphic Design. Those four years spent my time learning more about design and finding my unique style. Creating my own sketches, scanning them into the computer, and making them into digital artwork has greatly contributed to almost all of my work. Each piece has a very personal and illustrative element to it, making it unique to anything else. My other passions, aside from design, lie in fashion, beauty, blogging, and improving my piano skills whenever I have a free moment. Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries or just to say hi!
Below is my Graphic Design Résumé. Note: Some aspects (i.e. my phone number) have been changed to protect personal information. If you’d like to contact me, please refer to the “Contact” page. Thank you!
